Best Watches Under $1000

best watches under 1000

A nice watch can get really expensive, really quick depending on the features and brand name you choose to go with. If you are a collector or simply have the money to spend on a nice watch that will last you for years to come then these watches might interest you. They come from a range of well-known brands and all have features that are well worth the high price tag.

There are a lot of things you may want to consider before purchasing a watch – for example is the glass cover scratch resistant? Is it waterproof and how deep can you dive before seeing your watch give out? Are you looking for a more classic style or something a little more modern? There are so many styles and different features available to choose from it can be hard to make a decision.

So in order to help you out we’ve narrowed it down to four of the best mens watches under 1000 dollars.

Best Watches Under $1000 Review:

Gevril Men’s 2000 Columbus Circle

This Gervil watch would make a beautiful addition to any collection as well as a brilliant start for a want-to-be collector. The blue shades are a nice change of pace from more traditional silvers, golds, blacks and browns that you find on most high-end watches. The band is made of calfskin leather died blue to match the accents on the dial.

The casing is made of stainless steel – so it is sure to stand up to almost anything alongside the anti-reflective sapphire glass. This watch features a very unique date and time feature with the days of the week and dates around the edges of the dial of this analog watch. You will find that it runs on automatic self-winding movement and is waterproof up to 165 feet.

Tissot Men’s PRC 200

While still on the expensive side, this Tissot watch has plenty to offer that makes it well worth it! The traditional analog display with luminous hands on a black dial makes this an easy-to-read watch even at a glance, perfect for long drives or any really busy day. It has an anti-reflective sapphire glass cover over the dial that is also scratch-resistant, meaning your watch will stay in great shape for a long time.

Using a Swiss automatic movement and being water resistant up to 660 feet (roughly 200 meters) makes this one of the best dive watches under 1000 dollars as well. There is also a chronograph feature with dials for 6 hours, 30 minutes and 60 seconds that allow for the most accurate time keeping possible. The stainless steel band and casing offer a classic silver look and feel that most people absolutely love – making this a great buy.

Bulova Men’s Marine Star Diamond

Most watches are all about functionality – but in this case the Bulova goes a step in a different direction. While there are chronograph features that tell date and time, these features are not the highlight of the watch. Rather you will likely notice the many small diamonds that decorate the edge of the watch as well as being in place of the hour indicators.

The diamonds stand out fabulously on the black and silver colored band, which is made of stainless steel. This analog watch runs on Japanese quartz and it is water resistant up to 330 feet (100 meters). If you are looking for a stylish watch that will make you feel like a celeb, then this is probably the watch for you!

Victorinox Swiss Army Infantry Vintage

Finally we come to the least expensive and most “cut and dry” watch on our list – that doesn’t mean, however, it’s not a high quality accessory. The brown leather strap and stainless steel casing allow this watch to be multi-functional as both a casual every day watch and a sophisticated classic style that will go with most nice wardrobe choices.

This watch uses quartz movement and the dial color is a shade of khaki. The numbers on the dial are easy to read at a glance and it offers 24 hour display as well, which is a nice option on an analog watch. There is a date feature which keeps track of the day of the month, which means this watch isn’t totally without options!

You may like finding that even at this lower price tag you will find watches with high quality enough to offer a scratch resistant sapphire cover as this one does. It is fairly lightweight and is waterproof up to 330 feet (100 meters), which can leave people comfortable for activities like fishing and swimming – however this watch is not suited for diving.

In Closing...

In the end, it is up to you which watch you will choose – but each of these have some amazing features and offer a brilliant sense of style. It doesn’t matter if this is your first “grown up” watch or if you’ve been collecting for years – one of these will suit your needs (or at least spark an idea of what you are looking for).

Choosing a watch can be tricky – consider making a list of features that you absolutely want to have when you set your budget. This way, you can automatically filter out anything that doesn’t fit your criteria and narrow it down to the perfect watch for you!
