The Prospex SRP579 model features automatic movement and power, meaning you’ll never have to worry about changing your watch battery again! One interesting feature of this particular Prospex model is that it also possesses a see-through screw-down case back. Now you are able to see all of the inner workings of this masterpiece!
A compass can also be found on this Seiko model, along with a water resistant depth of up to 100 meters (330FT). The compass points are located around the outer edge of the watch case, making it easy to note direction just by a quick glance.
This watch features an all-black calfskin 22 millimeter leather strap with fold over buckle clasp. Men’s watch bands can be sized to fit wrists from 7.5 inches to 8.5 inches.
This richly detailed Prospex model comes with 41-power reserve and a unidirectional rotating compass bezel with push/pull crown. This model also features hand-winding capability.
A date display window is also featured on this classic Prospex model. Not only are you able to view the current date, but the two previous and two subsequent future dates can be viewed as well; just another intriguing aspect of the Prospex SRP579.
This watch has been branded by the manufacturer’s name, located in the upper section below the noon hour, and the water resistance and movement information can be found in the lower section of the timepiece above the 6 o’clock hour.
From the black ion finish to the cozy leather strap, this timepiece takes timekeeping to a whole new level. The extra specs such as the second hand and quadruple date window are just enough to give this (timepiece) the edge that it needs.
